First SLR

Hey I just got an Canon D1000 I know its not the best but its my first non art course DLR camera and I want to get good at photography as this summer im going backpacking across europe. I have the default lens that comes with the camera and telescopic one that came with the camera. I was wondering what lenses would be recommended for just idk traveling and just a variety of pictures. Im already going to buy a fish eye lens because I love fish eye lenses
