First time - c&c welcomed

Went to the outdoor ice rink for the first time and they had a blast. I realize that the vingetting is probably too much and dark but was hiding the people and shadows.

#1 and #3 are good shots and you don't need the vignette as there's nothing in the background to hide. And especially not the dark vignette. If anything, I'd try a light vignette in order to fade the "snow" to white.

#2 isn't a good shot to start with, and vignetting to mask out the other people won't help. Why not a good shot? Because you got his back... and without some great excuse (ie he was doing a flip, or blocking a shot, or was with someone who you got face on, or some such) it just looks like "I couldn't seem to get ahead of him, so this is what I ended up with".

I like #3. It is focused and looks like he is having fun!

#3 is cute. With you in a slightly different position, and a reflector to fill his face (you got his face in all shadow) it could have been a really good shot. So close! Keep shooting!

Thank you all for your input. #2 was taken because he was doing such a great job of skating and there wasn't as much distraction in the back and foreground. I will do some edits and re-post.
