Goods shots are more about the gunner (photographer skill and knowledge) than the gun (the camera used).

I'm also beginning to work on learning more about cameras and their various functions. I received a digital camera as a gift before I had my iPod, but all I did was use zoom in/out and take a shot... I never learned about aperture, exposures, shutter speed, etc., so this film camera will be a great opportunity to learn more in-depth about cameras and being a better photographer.
