I took this shpt of my buddy while he was rigging his flies to go fishing. I liked the shot, but the photo seemed drab and dull to me. So I messed with the colors and saturation a bit. This was the first shot at any kind of editing. I have no idea what I'm doing in LR. I just thought I would post these to get your thoughts. Did I do too much? Not enough? What else do you think you would do to this photo? I really have no idea yet how to use LR, but I'm interested in learning. The first shot is the un-edited shot. Thanks!

All I did in post was mess with the saturation to get the greens to look a bit brighter. To be honest, it was all I could figure out how to do. Would like to get your input. Thanks!

Try moving the "shadows" slider just a tad to the right, the "vibrance" a bit to the right, drop the "highlights" a bit to the left and barely move the "contrast" to the right. Let me know what you think. Cool photo though.

Thanks Elngerson! I messed with it a bit. This is what I came up with. I'll keep at it. You in the military? I'm in the navy. Spent a couple years in Sasebo. I miss Japan a lot!
