Okay, I know this is far from good. What do I need to do to make this look better?

Please C&C!!

First and foremost, find an interesting subject! Not even HDR can make a boring scene interesting.

...then concentrate on the HDR rendering...

It's definitely less than exciting and rather looks like it's been tone-mapped for the sake of tone-mapping. Try finding interesting scenes and don't use HDR unless you need it.

I know this is not a interesting scene I took it just so that I could try out HDR since I don't really know what I'm doing.

What did you take this with? Did you actually take multiple exposures or simply use software to mimic an HDR effect?

The image looks incredibly noisy and the subject matter is very boring. Also, aside from HDR, the composition could use some work. The tree line would look better if it was lower in the frame than it is.

Ang1995 a better scene for HDR would be shooting from inside a doorway, or in a tunnel. The bigger the difference in exposure needed the better I think it turns out. I've tried doing what you did and am never happy with the results because it wasn't really that in need of HDR to begin with. At sunset is also a better time for a shot like this IMO. Can't wait to see the next try!

Thank you for the advice! I knew that this was not a great HDR pic but I put it up so that I could get some advise on what to do and how.

Thanks again!!!
