First Try At Studio Photography O.o

So I finally got round to making myself a little studio in our barn xD
if a studio consists of a lamp and black fabric then I guess I can call it that ^-^
sadly I'm not the most creative being on the planet so it's a case of what you see is what you get with these ones, though I'm pretty pleased with them for a first try -_-

I need to get myself a flexible desk lamp that I can point as I want to ... and then I will bet myself a little "studio" like you did, Emma, too. These are ever so convincing that it is worth the while and looks good! Maybe two desk lamps, for good measure :scratch: ... and then I could become creative even on depressing days like the January days we are going through right now!

I really like these as well, the cropping and lighting makes the shots very interesting.

I'm personally a fan of the last one, myself...

As an aside, I'm gonna try to do the same thing you've done, albeit in mobile form. I have a box. Gonna cut out a side or two and put in it various different colours (or just have the colours available), and bam, mini-studio. I'm pretty new around, just an hour or so so this is the first time I comment a picture.

I really like the second one. Like the compo, sharpness & DOF. But also like the third one and the last one. Good job!

(I just started practicing studio shots at home but I'm doing portraits)
