Fish and Coral

I went to one of my favorite fish stores (salt water empire) today and decided to snap a few shots. Let me know what you think.

All of these photos were shot with a Nikon D80, using a fixed Nikkor 50mm 1.8. also many of them used a 12mm extension tube. If you want to view the pictures in a larger size or my camera settings you can check them out on my Flickr page.

they all look too cool, no doubt due to the lighting. Adjust your WB accordingly.

lol. Yeah I toned down the colors compared to what they where in person and made them look more yellow as well. Reef keepers typically use intense blue lighting for color and growth of coral. Using bulbs in the 450nm wave length so the colors will pop a lot more. If you were to go into the store these photos would look dull and yellow, so I'm ok with WB.
