Fish on Ice

Spotted in a fish market/restaurant on Long Island, NY, where you can pick your fish and they will prepare it for you.

This photo belongs somewhere between "wildlife" and "food."

Cool - I think I like it better with the bottom cropped off, or better yet, ice cloned over the bits of fish at the bottom.

I think you may be right. I'm going to learn how to use the cloning tool in Pixelmater this week and give it a try. Thanks for the push!

Thanks! I am going to try to learn enough to match that this week, and maybe go one learning the tricks one can do with Pixelmater. I usually just use an older version of iPhoto.

My first try at cloning! So much to learn, and not just about cloning. Special thanks to Tirediron and Dennybeall for getting me to actually read the manual for Pixelmater. I know my clone is lousy, but I just wanted to show that I am working on this new (for me) technique.

Not bad for a first try. It does kinda look like cotton instead of ice.. I actually didn't clone it, actually used The Patch Tool for all but just a touch up. I do have an advantage in that I have Photoshop available.
