Fisheye converter question

Hey guys, first post to the forum looking for some help..
I want to get a fisheye converter for my Sony Alpha a3000, and I'm looking at this one: Sony Fish Eye Converter for NEX SEL16F28 Lens
I know they're both 49mm diameter, but I'm not sure if it'll fit on my camera. Can anyone tell me if it will? Or how I could find out if it will?

The manual for the camera/lens will give you the filter size.

Looks like the converter fits the lens hood mount.

Then buy it if it fits your camera if that is what you really want. I do not hesitate to buy what I want...if I have the money that is. Or wait til I have.
