I think there definitely needs to be a sub-forum for fitness discussions so lots of individual threads can be started and stored for separate things.

quite a lot of you are going on about diets and such so I thought I'd post about myself going the complete reverse, I've been trying to put weight on for quite a while, I'm at a healthy weight at the moment but definitely would love to get bigger!

when I was in year 10 (Age of 14/15) I weighed around 9 Stone and I was 6ft 2" pretty underweight for my age and height, I decided to start going to the gym and over the years I've been putting more and more weight on now I'm 21, 6ft 4" and 14 stone exactly, I've been doing seasons for my body, stacking on and stripping off fat, I've stripped off half a stone in the last two weeks but now I'm not satisfied so now I'm stacking back on again! I'm like a yo-yo making my mind up!

What are everyones P.B's in the gym? Benchpress/ leg press / deadlifts / squats / all that jazz? :D

Anyone else into Building rather than toning?

I make a P.B. every other day pretty much. I'm going to the gym every MWF and trying to add 5lbs to each exercise.

Right now I'm at:

Squats: 185lbs. (105lbs on 10-3)
Deadlift: 245lbs. (185lbs on 10-3)
Bench Press: 145lbs. (95lbs on 10-3)
Barbell Rows: 175lbs. (95lbs on 10-3)
Overhead Press: 85lbs. (70lbs on 10-3)

On 10-3-13 I weighed 181lbs., this morning I weighed 182.3lbs. I'm doing it just to stay in shape, be stronger, and slim down.

Oops! Forgot to post mine!

Deadlift - 308lb (140kg)
Benchpress - 253lb - (115kg)
Leg press (machine) 771lb (350kg)
Machine row 220lb (100kg)
Fly 235lb (107kg)
squats 198lb (90kg)
dumbbell bicep curl 50lb (22kg) -per arm.
Olympic lift barbell 154lb (70kg)

- Currently weigh 198lb (90kg)

cant think of any others off top of my head, will add more when I think of them :)

I can split a good sized log with an ax, and carry two 80lb bags of cement.

The question that occurs is "were you being chased, or were you running after something/someone?" ;-)

Dear god.

How much do you weigh to be able to do that?! jesus christ

He is in the military. Remember that the next time you Brits get any crazy ideas about us colonists. ;)

I've been trained by my brother who's also in the military (Royal Marine) and he only lifts 160kg. how the hell, he must be a mahusive guy lifting 415lb haha !

Trust me it wasn't easy marine or nay. I had two spotters. After warming up and, getting used to heavy weight that took pretty much my whole work out Training proper form and eating, especially the eat part.

For me, if I lift a max weight 3xs then I can honestly say it's official. I call it god, country and corps routine :). God only got his so far lol.

Nah doesn't matter height/weight just determination, and do it properly.
