Would baby oil and a spray bottle of water work to simulate sweat?
If my subject wants baby oil on Friday he can apply it himself, I'm not that dedicated to my art.... and I'll be damned if I'll let Granny apply it for him!
Yes, you could spray with water after the baby oil has been applied, but I think it would be difficult to tell unless you were making a tight shot. I used it to help the light curve round the muscles more, but certainly, if you're going to be close enough, a spray of water would look great.
