I also use two sets of the 2400mAh Imedions as backups in the bag that hold a charge longer between charges.

Cycle them through this charger and they will last a really long time, I am going on 6 years on the 4 sets of 2700 mah and so far the weakest set is only down to 2522mah. It's also nice to be able to match batteries of like power together. A set can sit in my bag for a month and when I throw them on the charger they usually only have a 10% drop in power.

I've tried the Eenloops and Energizers, for me the PowerEx just keep on powering my lighting beyond my needs.

Quantum Battery 1. AWESOME!

I bought mine back when Ronald Reagan was president--and it STILL WORKS, on the ORIGINAL battery cell!!!!!! Simply, in a word, an AMAZING value in lighting gear. Even in its advanced age, my 20-year-old Battery 1 it was last able to power TWO balcony-mounted Vivitar 285HV speedlight flashes, BOTH flashes firing each time, for hundreds of pops over the time frame of a high school basketball game. My more-recernt uses are much lighter, like 50 to 100 flashes here and there, with just ONE 285.

The much bigger,more-expensive Turbo I bought died wayyy back in the early 1990's.

I've been using these and found them to work great. They don't seem to hold a full charge after weeks of sitting, but performance is great and the price and availability was right.
