Flash

I wanted to know if anyone could help me with flash how would I turn it off because someone told me I didn't need it because it makes shadows in the background which are unpleasing so how would I get it off? I don't see it anywhere... I looked in menu...

I'm using a 4.1 mega pixel Cyber - Shot (model DSC - P73)

I have no idea how to get the flash off....
