HELP X-T30iii memory card issues

A friend of mine was bothering me for a year now because they bought a Sony a6400 and they didn’t know how to work it. Eventually I came over (Saturday) and he told me that there was a memory card read error. Stupid me, I took my memory card out and stuck it in his camera. Some how, I got his camera working but now my memory card didn’t work. I plugged it into his computer and formatted it. Still didn’t work. I bought two brand new SD cards they don’t work either. What happened?

Could well be a fault with your friends camera, did he/she buy it new? Used from a reputable company? The guy on Craig’s list?
Maybe try a reset on the camera, a media card suggested for that model camera..

I have always been told that you must format your memory card in the camera you intend to use it in and not on another device or laptop or you may have problems.
