Out on a photo hike today and came across this beautiful BobCat. She only stayed out long enough for me to click off a few shots.... This is the my second encounter in the last year with a BobCat!!!
It looks like the settings used were: Camera: Nikon D300 Exposure Time: 1/640 (on picture 1), 1/500 (on picture 2&3) F Stop: f/4.8 ISO: 400 Exposure: Manual Metering: Center Weighted Focal Length: 500mm   Great Captures! Where were you when you saw it?
Whoa! How exciting to come across this beauty, and be quick enough to get nice shots like these (especially that first one, with the eyes looking at you).
Although I am on the other side of the state now, I have been there (I used to live on Wickham Rd near the college) and it's an awesome place to shoot. You lucked out to see this guy though. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to heading back with new camera in hand (last time I only had a P&S). Again, great captures! Paul
