Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
So I took a picture of a flower today while I was waiting for a debate tournament to start. The picture came out ugly but with some editing I think I saved it...

What do you think? Its not the greatest but its different. Something about it I like and that's all that matters, right?

I'm only trying to help.
Ok next time use a higher f stop, like maybe F11 or so, with a slower shutter for more exposure.
Was this shot with L glass? Don't answer that. I checked and it was.

Would you mind if I post my flower on your thread?

That's fine, I used my 70-200mm. The original was over exposed and over saturated. I started to play around with sliders in light room got this.

Your sharpest optimized setting for the lens you have should be around f7-f9.
F8 would probably have served you well for this shot.
This is only to give an idea in an attempt to help.

sweet photo! I keep forgetting that 2.8 is not the best sharpness lol. What lens did you use?

smc PENTAX-DA* 16-50mm F2.8 ED AL [IF] SDM.
On a K7 body.
The lens cost as much as the camera.
Supposed to be on par with L glass.

In case you missed it, this was shot in user programmed mode.
It allows you to customize the shots. The exif date is showing full auto mode.
It was not shot in full auto mode.
The f stop and shutter speed were programmed in.

I think this will help you the next time you have a go at it.

Thanks! I will try f7-f11 next time.
