Flower of Power Ha!

So this is my first post and I'm sorta nervous (just kidding), but heres my first picture. So what do you guys think?

I like the picture a lot. Good DOF.

The flower is pretty, but you have two things go against it... one is the green of the leaves right behind it and two is your background colors are brighter than the flower color so they grab the attention first. If you could have gotten a more neutral background or even a more even background, it would have helped.

Thanks for your input. For me personally, this pic was awkward as it was underexposed and I had to edit it, but I totally agree that the color of the back ground is a bit too overpowering. Thanks again

James, I did a little work in Lightroom to this pic and it turned out a little better. Heres the edited version...

*I know his photos are not to be edited, but we are best friends and live in the same town, Im sure he wont mind...*
