Flower pictures, C&C appreciated

Please bare with me if the images don't work the first time. I've had a issue with this in the past. I took these all today at a conservatory. I have a nikon d5000 with kit lens. I am not getting the sharpness I desire, and I think my white balance might be off (they look different on different monitors). None of these have been edited. Please tell me what I can do to improve! Thanks a million.

#6 has some drama the others lack.

The lighting was really pretty on number 6, although I don't think I captured it to the full extent

I like 2 3 6 7. Very nice shots. My fave is 2. The WB of those looks fine to me.

2 and 6 are my favourites, but they all seem to have good composition and the blurring works well.

Number 4 looks like an aged crooner belting out a favourite old song. This is probably the one I like least of all as the flower is not shown at its best and there isn't much else going on in the image.

I like the offset focus of number 2, and number 6 seems to hold the eye a little longer than the others. Nice photos!

I like the first one the most. I just wish it wasn't centered.
