Here's an analogue to digital conversion of a small portion of a Tri-X 8x10 negative of some small flowers against the rock at Pemaquid lighthouse in Maine, shot about
20 years ago. I was intrigued with the tiny little flowers finding a place to roost against the hard granite; pounded by salt water and wind. The shape of the granite was almost like a mountain range. Printed up as a large image it likely has more impact than on your screen.
This demonstrates the tremendous amount of information available in analogue: Such an image in digital would have resulted in chunks of pixelation.
