That second photo looks like a Mandavilla but I'm not certain -- have to ask the better half tomorrow. Well it's a nice photo but the white balance is pretty blue. The color was probably more like this:

I'm still a rookie so I might be wrong but I think it would look much better from a different angle / wider.
Can you please go back and re-shoot the third image..it has potential.

#2 is a Trumpet Vine (Campsis radicans), #1 is a Dianthus.

Thanks for the feedback I took your advice and played with the color. Also did some retouching on the petals. I don't think I warmed it up quite as much as you did. What software did you use for this? It seemed to really bring out the texture in the petals?

Awww... I doubt I will find that one again. Tried that before with wild flowers and they change so much between one visit and the next. Next time I am up there I will keep this in mind though. Thanks.

I use Photoshop to remove the excess blue. Your camera was set to auto white balance which doesn't really work. The blue is from the open shade. If you think about the light outside there are two light sources. The dominant light source is the sun, but if you move out of the direct sun then the light source becomes the sky which is blue.
