Male Altamira Oriole

The Orioles have been spending quite a bit of time on this plant lately. Some sort of flowering vine that I started as a cutting from a neighbor's plant.
They are nipping at the base of the flowers and I suspect that they are looking for nectar.

I believe that nesting season is starting around here. There's been lots of territorial squabbles around that plant and the Lantana right next to it. The Orioles, Mockingbirds, Kiskadees and even Blackbirds all disagreeing on just who belongs there.
