Focusing Problems

Help….!
I have a Nikon 50mm 1.4 manual focus and it work well with my F3. I just tried using it with my D70 and focusing is less than satisfactory. I am manually focusing, but all of the shots were fuzzy…out of focus. What am I doing wrong????

As suggested.....a tripod makes the difference.

It is very hard to get the blue focusing dot to hold still when handhold shooting.

I'm guessing that the viewfinder is a bit smaller and dimmer on the D70, which will make it harder to see your focus point. The lens should focus fine on either though. It's just a matter of being able to see it.

Well that's pretty bad as I am thinking of ordering the same lens. Waiting for the solution.
