Went on the road with the team this week to a newer stadium with much better lighting. Here are a couple of my favorites.

Yes, this is a couple of the 6A, (biggest class) teams in Oklahoma. There are a couple of big boys playing on this team.

they grow em big there! They would absolutely murder out HS teams!

I wouldn't think they are that big. Most of those shots were either me kneeling down or bending somewhat to get a little better (Upward) angle. I'm pretty sure that #3, 4 and 5 were with me kneeling.

I think 3 is the best of the bunch. Sports are hard! I shot over a thousand pics at the game I went to and got maybe a dozen keeps.

I can see why all the pro use high frame rates and big primes.

Thanks, I agree that I like #3 probably best. #1 and 2 were me trying to get a little "creative" as best you can at a football game. I shot over 300 friday night and I got about the same number or less that I don't mind showing. There are probably others that would work, but not the money shot.

I spent a lot of time during this game trying to get the linemen at the suggestion of Imagemaker46 (Scott). That is more difficult to pull off to me but I was trying. I figure that as long as I'm shooting football, I can learn something each time out.

Thanks Bill. It was a wild night. They were down 14-0 at half and then 21-0 early in the 3rd before coming back to win 36-27 and ruin the other teams homecoming.
