Thanks, everyone. Even those who responded un-seriously, well, that's still a response, isn't it?

I try to avoid explaining photographs, since it's not about what I see in there anyways.

Technical details, though:

This image is dodged quite heavily in the center, quite deliberately. I find it interesting how decreasingly obvious this is in larger sizes, and how increasingly obvious it is in the thumbnails. It's pretty subtle at full size on my monitor, and a huge BLOTCH OF WHITE in the thumbnail, which is a bit of a disappointment.

I am pretty sure this is actually an ornamental pear tree, but this is based purely on my memory of which trees on that street produce small inedible pears, which memory is sketchy at best. It is one of the earliest trees to blossom in my neighborhood.
