My first shot at a little home studio, what i learned most is that i need better lighting !:er: any how For mothers day a little secret shoot for the mommy. Dont worry , she does not check this site, and any advice would be great.

The mother will be so thrilled. To me the shot is great just the way it is. Nice lighting, beautiful little girl and a sweet pose and smile..what more could you ask for?

I might add some back light just to help her stand out a touch more, but I think that's secondary to the great smile you've already captured.

BTW is "Back light" the right term in photography? I'm used to theatrical lighting terms.
