I was asked at the grocery store today at checkout if I'm a veteran. I'm assuming they were offering discounts of some sort. I thought it was nice!

I read that The Chicken Ranch is offering freebies for the second and third of any engagement for a veteran.

Our son who was Army a few years back got quite a few freebies on Friday.
We went with him on Saturday to Cracker Barrel and had dinner. We told the waitress we appreciated the free dessert he got and we were 'paying' them back for their appreciation of military folks.
Thanks to the businesses who had the opportunity to do this.
