What's new

For those who have signatures or watermarks on their photos, would you mind sharing?

I used a tablet and signed my initials in a png file, and that's what I use. I feel it's more personal and similiar to painting artists who will sign a corner of their canvas.

Ditto.

My older watermark...

I wouldn't stress too much about a watermark. I made these out of shear boredom and only use them on uploaded images.

Sparky I can't find it!

I agree the initials really do look nice! Both forms on the photo and in the border. I like the use of the border in the pic too it's not obnoxious, very classy & clean I'm really picky about borders for some reason.. I guess I dont like them.. Not as much as vignette though =|

Of course, there's always watermarks that can't be seen:

One of these has a watermark. Anyone tell which one?:

Then you could always do this:

Best. Watermark. Ever. LOL!

What do you guys use to create the .png file? I don't have CS5 or any graphic design software and don't want to buy anything just to create a watermark. I use the Mogrify plug-in in lightroom and would like to be able to use a graphical watermark instead of the text ones.

What do you guys use to create the .png file? .......

GIMP. I just used an outline of Iowa, put text inside, and changed the background to transparent. When I place it on an image, I can dial the opacity down to a reasonable level.
