For my taste, this just doesn't do much for me. It looks as if you just stopped along the trail and decided to take a picture. If I'm on a trail, I certainly don't want to be hearded by fencing. However, in your shot you may have gotten a different perspective by laying on your belly or back (upside down framing can be rotated) or standinding on the fence (with assistance) and shooting just the tips of the fence or OMG, cross the fence. I dunno, just IMO.

i like the shot, just too bad we can't see more of the trail. should go up, not down. maybe try shooting from the other side?

Yep, I like it!! ...But as someone else stated, it would have been nice to see a little more of the trail and where it goes to. I think it's great to see the "hills and valleys" of the landscape as well.

Personally, I like the fence...it adds a different texture than the trees.

Yep...I really lke this one!!!!! :O) I'd hang it in my house!
