I'll be there on the 17th (the Tuesday after next Tuesday). Anybody want to meet up?

Mostly just going to take the kids (2 & 4 yrs old) and let them check it out (it will be their first trip to the zoo), but if anybody is in the area and doesn't have plans or work that day, a little informal meet-up would be cool. I'm thinking I'll be there pretty much all day.

Hopefully it isn't raining or something that day... If it is, I'll probably just postpone till the next day.

Not really sure how much gear I want to bring... On one hand, I want to take it all, on the other hand - I don't want to carry it all day. :lmao: I'll probably bring a stroller just for my camera bag, lol.


Anyway - no pressure or anything, if anybody is in town and hasn't been to the zoo in a while, it could be fun. I realize that Tuesday probably isn't a good day for most people, but I work weekends so it's perfect for me.

Just thought I'd throw it out there since I know there are a lot of members here in the DFW area...

I would actually be down for an East Coast meet-up, but it would have to be when I have some vacation time... And I think all of my vacation time this year will be spent on a trip to Ohio. Haven't seen most of my family in close to a decade... Most of them have never even seen my kids...

Cleveland would be cool. I'll be in Columbus whenever I go up there, so it would only be like 2 hours away.
Just looked it up on Google Maps - it's actually a lot closer than I thought it was... 16 hours from here to Columbus (1,010 miles).
My brother is going to school in Toledo, so I'll probably head up there too.

Well, we went to the Zoo today. It was fun.

The film is drying right now. I only shot one roll (220 roll of Fuji Pro 160S) - I was going for quality over quantity, lol. Hopefully they don't suck.

I decided that I didn't want to drag around my 30lb bag of 35mm gear, so I just brought the GF670. The 80mm focal length ('normal' on medium format) limited my shots a little, but I feel that I was still able to get a lot of good shots.

Fuji Pro 160S always dries perfectly flat for me, so I may get some scans up tonight.
