Forum problem - advanced search missing options?

Just to check but didn't advanced search on the forums allow users to search within on a specific selectable subsection of the site? It seems that this option is no longer available so users can't search just within one forum sub-category.

Sure they can.

Click on the Search Single Content Type tab, then make selections in the Addition Options section.

I complianed before that when Search is clicked on it defaults to the Search Multiple Contents Types
