I actually got to the spot and realized I had left the plate for my travel tripod in my other bag. The good news is that I had another tripod with me, the bad new is that it was my heavy duty video tripod that weighs 20lbs. So I draged that thing trough the woods and down a rock face.

But yes it was in the rocks and in the water.
