that first one is a terrific example of good exposure time for night photography.

really good job keeping that second shot symmetrical.

imo, i think in the first shot the capitol building is a tad distracting...like you cant tell what should be the subject. but again, that is just my opinion.

The second frame looks like a diamond necklace. Something you would find at Tiffany&Co!!! That may be the second time I have compared one of your posts to jewelry. Anyway, good use of the dreaded specular highlight.

"fountain of power" may be a little dramatic as a title. I would say "what goes on behind closed doors is not up for public scrutiny" is closer to the truth. I had to throw that in. I only thought it was funny. Politics in a cool photo thread could be questionable.
