Four Street Photos- 2 color, 2 b&w

Went to a street festival this past saturday and took these four. Hope you all enjoy, and feedback is wonderful too!

Great capture in number 3, and I really like the composition.

With number one, I just wish he was facing the camera. But I realize you meant to take the shot from that vantage point.

I like them all. I really like #1! You really captured a 6 year-old-moment, all they seem to do around this age is climb on everything! I maybe would have moved the subject to the left of the photo, but that is how my brain works, I read from left to right so I generally find things in that typ of composition my pleasing. However, just the way it is is still excellant.

#2 doesn't do anything for me.

#3 is great

#4 is interesting. I think I like it. However, the head that is over the guys shoulder is distracting, and his hand is cut off. I could do with the hand being cut off, but the other guys head is no good for me.

I'm really drawn to #1! It just screams "childhood" to me.

Like everyone else I like #3. I like the PP on it and the composition of it.

1 is perfect. good capture.

the others are okay but you could have framed them better. but you have the right kind of idea going. Stick with it.

As have others stated, #1 is probably the best from this set.
#2 is quite ok

However, #3 and #4 have some composition problems:

#3 - amputated human parts
- the guy is looking to the right, however, there's no room on the right side of the picture. Instead, you chose to include parts of woman's body on the left. I don't think that it was the right decision.
- is it just me or is the picture actually crooked? Seems to me as if it was falling to the right. (look at the column in the background)

#4 - the guy is pointing at the sky, or maybe at something he's holding in his right hand? Can't tell, because you just amputated his hand and put the guy in the middle of the frame. (not to mention the hand of the other guy somewhat coming from background). I want to see what is your main subject he pointing at, not hands or feet of commoners behind him. Maybe bigger aperture would help as well to blur out that disruptive background. Anyway, this could have been a great picture...

I appreciate the critique a lot guys, and yes, number three is tilted, and number four is a little off, but they were also taken in the blink of an eye (street photographs tend not to wait for you to make them perfect), but I was satisfied with both of them, because of the composition and the vibrant color which brought them to life, especially in comparison to the other two (although I of course loved the black and white)
