I was curious if there were a lens turret available for mirrorless cameras, when I ran across this:

Yes. That is an a900 with a microscope turret attached to the front.

Not really sure if it's more cool than it is strange or more strange than it is cool - no doubt, it is both.

but it does kind of stir up my curiosity. old microscope parts are cheap - is a t-mount common on the turret?

Man I was STOKED!!!!!!!!! Shown with 16mm Zeiss Luminar, 25mm Leitz Photar and 48mm B&L Macro Tessar. For $99. Woo-hoo! What an awesome set-up! NINE units available! A Sony A900 camera, and a turret, and three uber-closeup-capable ultra-macro lenses!!! Ninety-nine bucks! Then I saw those awful,awful,awful six words: "Lenses and camera are not included."

Man, what a rip-off!

All kidding aside--that turret and three-lens setup looks like it would be fun to have!

LOL. Those three lenses would set you back 30-60x what the turret is listed! But yeah, Luminars are NEAT.

In the meantime, I'm ordering one of each of these weirdos:

Not sure how I'll mount them. I'll probably need to glue them to an M42 cap. I think the flange is too large to screw without constructing some kind of adapter plate - which would be easy enough.
