Thanks everyone. From what I could tell it was a fight over territory for food. They were calm and feeding at first just before the fight broke out. First, two started fighting when they came in close proximity of each other and then it appeared as though their mates joined in the fight. Only after one was forced backwards into the water lying on it's back did the fight end.

Good set...........

Great captures - especially the detail on such quick action shots. I've watched my wife's roosters spar sometimes and they can be really fast.

I had a hard time seeing the birds on my smart phone. I opened this up on my desktop computer and was able to see them just fine. Nice shots, but they appear to be a little busy with all the weeds in the background. I still like them. Good job!

If I could've got them to move the fight to the grass believe me, I would've. Thanks!
