Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I have used the video function of my camera for the first time last week.

I have a small project with the kid that I want to prepare, nothing fancy.

I already have view NX software which comes with the camera to edit video, but that is all and I have and never used it so far.

Do you have any Free video editing software that you recommend, right now, I do not want to invest any money in a software.

I am familiar with the Adobe suite: photoshop, illustrator and inDesign.

You are wanting free video editing software. Your camera came with free video editing software yet you have not tried it out to see if it will do what you want? Perhaps you should start with what you have first.

Yes I am being lazy, I have tried several photo editing software and would be able to share my experience, not the case with video.
Sometimes someone comes around and says: here I have tried these 3 and this one is the simplest, or the most complete.

My thought process was lets try to figure out only the one that will be recommended. If you already know that such and such will do twice as well as View NX. (For my pictures I do NOT use View NX)

Anyways if I have no answers I will search more, anybody cares to share their experience?

If it can benefit anybody else, I just discovered that my camera (Nikon D600) makes .mov video files, which are not editable by window Movie maker. So new to anything video, I did not even know which format it uses...
so I am downloading right now the wondershare video editor ( it can edit .mov files)

MOV Editor: How to Edit MOV Files on Mac/Win (Windows 8 included)

Which program are you guys using?

Wondershare is pretty good, I have used that mostly for slideshows that I add video too. I use Sony Vegas, you can use a trial version.
