They work being full framed. Only thing is that the highlights are a bit too bright.

Thanks for the replies. I did wonder if I shouldn't darken the highlights, but it looked kinda over saturated.
As for the centering, I was advised not to be one of "those people" who heard about the rule of 3rds and always use it... I like them centered. Their shape calls for it, I think.
