I saw this from the other side of the window and hoped he wouldn't move or change expression before I got to get the shot.
I didn't think I had a specific style; I pressed the shutter when things looked interesting.

I feel like you went through a phase of very isolated, single obvious subjects with very simple backgrounds. Or at least that's what it seemed like to me for a while.

I was looking at the guy for a bit before I looked at the words on the glass Black Shack and the guy is a Black man.Duh LOL.

This is a small place but has very good burgers, fries, etc.
It is in Murray Hill in NYC, on Lexington, between 38 and 39.
The only downside was that they had Diet Rite cola.

I think I'll send them a print.

Either that or there was no shadow from a bicycle. Either way a nice shot.

No sir, don't take it the wrong way. The street art photo had too much...between the actual artist, the guy with the cell phone taking a photo, the van in the background, etc. It just wasn't the extraordinary 3rd world shots I was used to seeing.

Believe me, compared to anywhere else, NYC is a much different world.
Just totally exhausting - and expensive.

Look at the parking rates. One reason I don't drive to NYC.
