I'm pretty sure I like the second one better. They're both very nice, though.

I also prefer the processing and overall "feel" that is created in the second shot. The first shot just seemed a bit gloomy I guess is the word. The second one is lighter and more "airy". The sheer blackness of the water on the lake surface was hurting shot #1 a bit, IMHO.

I think I agree with you both! The first shot was how I originally processed it, then I went back and lightened it up a bit!

There's a bit too much gray and degree of flatness in the second photo, but this was a tough exposure.
