From my first ever B&W's

These were all taken at or near Killington, Vermont. Spring 2005ish. After work with the snowboard crew.
Kodak 100(or 200?) Color Process B&W (Not the pro stuff) and minor curves adjustments in PS
Sorry about the rough edges with the quick borders...

I really like #7 and #11

#7 because of the way the train curves and #11 because of the vintagy, old, classic look of it.

Some with people are very dark. Number 1 I like, very moody, "after the rain."

Did you notice the mountain in the background of #1 poking out of the fog?

Yeah they are kinda dark. When I was adjusting the curves I was thinking about setting a true-black point. It seemed like the right thing to do at the time. I'll scan them again and upload an untouched version for anyone to tinker with if they want later today.

Shot's 9 & 11 catch my eye. The curve of the train you've captured well, framing it in portrait form adds to this. And, I'm a sucker for these kind of pics of cars, especially American one's. You've got a 50's feel to the shot. Good shots friend
