Fruit bat, Blue tongue & Galahs...

Love watching these fly over just on dark while camping, had one silently fly past my head the other night. I can't photograph them since is dark when they fly over.

I dont have tame galahs,

G'day mate

Yep - galahs abound all over the place with their unique sqwarks and funny antics - great to watch and point a lens towards. As to fruit bats, after dark is (somehow ! ) a bit of a problem, but sometimes you can get lucky just before sundown as they leave their nesting trees looking for food

And the good-ol' blue-tongue lizard, we also have a couple in the foliage and under-brush around our place too

Not this mob here they sleep in the buggers. Yeah its always way after sundown, never seen them go past when theres still usable light.

Really like to photograph one, though the one that flew past the other night i could feel its air as he flew past. Got a bit of a natural rush, felt great. Lol...
