What's new

frustrated and want to give up

Film cameras dont have a million different buttons and options!lol!

The D90 does not have many buttons, shutter speed and aperture and iso still works the same as film but you can change it when you want,

I love the irony in this thread.

"I've never learned from reading, but please post in a text based forum what I should do to improve my images."

"Please find another forum" to someone with nearly 2000 times more posts I thought was pretty ironic as well...

You Sir,are very rude . I have never learned from reading,it is a learning disability I have had my whole life . Keep nasty opinions to yourself. You Sir, also have a problem with misspelling words.

Let he who is without sin cast the fist stone.

Your post isn't exactly going to get you an A+ in English class.[/QU
Are you serious!I dont care about English class, space bars,or my learning disability.I joined this forum to learn more about photography. This other guy "attacked " me! Go back and read his post. Why cant forums just be clean and to the point, why does there allways have to be somebody who...urgh!

Hmmm. You want to slam someone for their English skills, but it's OK for you to be just as sloppy? Try Googling "Double Standards" sometime.

You're really not helping your cause here. I'm done here.

Bahhahahahahaha!!! That is the line of the day!!! Take your own advice......::banghead::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:

Yes, you do learn from reading manuals. Stop the self-fulfilling, negative self-speak and apply yourself.

No one learns it all by reading the users manual only once. I keep my camera users manual in my camera bag so I always have it handy for looking stuff up in it.

I have probably read my manula all the way through 8 or 10 times, and that doesn't count all the times I've re-read sections of it.

You also have a problem with the space bar on your computer.

Check this out sbella, you joined an internet forum, asked for opinion and then in turn, upon receiving helpful guidance decide to insult the one who is trying to help? Check yourself, back down and start over. Learn to receive comments both positive and negative or you will NEVER find this forum useful.

Riddle me this...you can't learn by reading, but this forum, and the intertubes in general, are text based, which require reading. How exactly are you going to learn anything here?
I'm serious. I am very interested to know how your learning disability works.

Please find another forum, you are really starting to aggravate me.Have a nice day and find someone else to be honry with.
I've reread posts 1-13 several times. Where is your assertion of someone stating for you to find another forum? Please post the reply number or has the responder edited it out?

I think you mean ornery,
1. ugly and unpleasant in disposition or temper: No one can get along with my ornery cousin.
2. stubborn: I can't do a thing with that ornery mule.
3. low or vile

On topic, as has been mentioned, the basics of digital are no different than with film. Camera functionality (bells & whistles) differ between models and brands, but the basics do not change. It is unfortunate the user manual is disconcerting for you. It truly is a wealth of information about your camera operations. Overead gave an extremely valid and helpful suggestion. Find a local camera club and become involved with their regular meetings. I think meetup.com is a good staring point for this.

Rude? No Way! Honest? You bet!

Thanks! I'll fix the one word I spelled wrong (manula).

I have no excuse for the spelling error. You on the other hand have plenty enough for both of us.

Might I assert that KmH really had typo, not really a blatant misspelling of the word. I would say there is a difference! No?
