FS: Canon EOS 1Ds Mk I

I am shifting all my bodies to the lighter 5D style bodies so am selling my workhorse Canon EOS 1Ds Mk I body.

My EOS 1Ds Mk I body has seen significant use, has paint loss, but functions perfectly. The shutter should be replaced (fairly inexpensive from ENTER MIDSTATE CAMERA REPAIR, best shop anywhere!). The EOS 1Ds Mk I was shifting to being a spare, however I do use it as a remote. The shutter works perfectly up to 1/1000, then for some reason there is a shutter problem...which is why I am selling it for roughly 1/2 what others are going for on POTN and other forums.

This EOS 1Ds has the OEM eye piece, all port covers, comes with two 3rd party higher-capacity batteries (with Canon OEM battery end-caps swapped on) and a Canon OEM battery charger.


The body has been checked and it works perfectly (sans the shutter issue)
