I purchased the 5D in May of 2008 and it has under 9k shutter actuations. The body is in excellent condition minus a tiny scuff on the rear LCD that isn't noticeable when viewing pictures or having the camera at an angle. I've never had any issues with this camera.

It's about time to upgrade to the 5DMKII, I'm in no rush to sell this camera off because I may opt to keep it and buy another lens.
