Fuji S5000 brightness

The other morning i was taking a picture of the sunrise and i was playing with settings, i came across one that adjusted brightness and i made some changes, i cant seem to find that setting again to readjust it back again.

I'm guessing you have it in auto mode, not manual, so it was probably "Exposure Compensation". Look through your manual for how to change it back. It's usually in the menu as "EC" or just a dial that looks something like:

^^ If it is, then it's the button on the top of the camera, far right. It's between the shutter and the mode dial.
