Yeah, an FX8350. Cheap and fast enough- I game with it. My other pc is Intel, but I like to keep an AMD machine running, kind of as a tiny protest to Intel market domination, haha

My old 8350 8 core runs at 4GHz stock and overclocks well. That plus 16G RAM and a EVGA GTX 970FTW, and it still runs everything that I throw at it. PS is fast and smooth, too. I only ever built a Intel box because a friend gave me a nice core i5 cpu. I'll be building another AMD machine soon enough...

I just got rid of my FX8320 -- overclocked to basically a 8350. Thing worked well for most things but running adobe products

I just went to the i7-7700K and couldn't be happier with the performance right now -- even with half the cores.
