Without knowing WHY these images were made, it's rather hard to offer any meaningful critique. Is it meant to be an exorcise in product photography? Just playing with DoF? Give us a bit of what you wanted to accomplish, and you'll get more direction.

I was just messing around. Im just getting into photography and just got my Rebel XT yesturday.

...whats DOF?

DoF is Depth of Field. This describes the elements in your photograph that are in acceptable focus. All of these images have "shallow" DoF, meaning that only a shallow plain of the area is coming into focus. Often times, this is a useful tool to bring attention to the subject of a photograph.

I like these pics. Good use of DOF. Sure they're kinda pointless, but you can never blame a photographer for playing around with his toys when he's bored ;-) .
