As some of you know i've been working on a cheetah pic that i took from the zoo. Here's the original thread....

I gave it another shot at making it more realistic with a simpler bg....now that's it time to move on :)

I think the transition in this one is much better. The other one looked very cut out, this one is much smoother and the lighting seems to match the BG much better as well.
 
I agree. I'm not a fan of replaced backgrounds because the mismatched lighting usually stands out to me. The second one works fairly well.

Ditto. Couldn't have articulated it better than Big Mike did.
 
I really do like the sky in the first one. But it does look slightly super-imposed. The second one does seem to blend in better... but its not as dramatic :)
 
thanx for the c&c everyone, I do think the second one works better. You live and learn and appreciate you guys for commenting and looking.
 
I agree with them, I really like the second one. Great colors, easy to the eyes and more realistic.
