Getting over shyness....For the greater good.

I'm extremely shy about talking and meeting people. It's THE biggest roadblock that's stopping me from progressing in photography. Even when I'm doing street photog I'm always scared and anxious that someone will say something to me.

Not only that but I've always wanted to do model photography but I'm just too shy.

Has anyone else had this problem and overcome it?

Talking to...and dealing with people is a skill...just like the rest of photography. The best way to improve your skills, is to practice.

Do this. Its not as hard as you make it. Just be cool about it. Typically people like to have their picture taken. If you are really shy. Go to the club one night. Have a few drinks and wait until others have a few drinks and they will lossen up. At this point most anybody there would let you take their picture.
