Gimp, saving file help!!

Hey guys, so i downloaded the editing program Gimp, and i did what i needed to do in the photo, its black and white with the leaves in color, now i can't figure out how to save it, it says i can't save it as jpeg, so i need to get it saved and sent to mpix to get it printed, any help with what to save it as?? Thanks!

You should be able to save as jpg...

Select 'Save As', then open the file type menu, then find the one you want:

If you used layers make sure you flatten it or you won't be able to save it as a jpeg.

Good point... otherwise....

FILE -> SAVE AS -> SELECT FILE TYPE (click the + next to this and scroll through the list until you find JPEG Image...
